Most times when I hear people talk about the election, I see many people choosing the candidate to vote for based on the popular opinion. They never do any research, or take any effort at all to find out the truth about who they are voting for. It seems like their choice is based purely on a popularity contest. Take the following clip for example. Sal from the Howard Stern show went to Harlem to ask who people were voting for and why. Give it a listen.
I bet that’s the case all over the country, not just in Harlem. In my opinion, I feel that this is the case for most Obama supporters. Everyone jumping on the bandwagon because he is the ‘cool’ guy. But do you know what he is about? Do you really know or is it just what your friends told you? Do they know? Take a look at this clip from Chris Rock.
Now Chris throws in a few jokes, but he makes a real good point. Most people don’t take the effort and look up what what each candidate is really about. You can’t really believe most of the ads you see, or even what you hear in the debates. One candidate will say one thing, and the other says no thats not true, and back and forth. Do your research. I know I have. And what I found out is Obama is a do nothing. He has never done anything, and he is all talk. It’s not hard to sit back and see problems with the country and say you will do the opposite. Being a Monday morning quarterback is not hard at all.
